Keiko Hongo Scholarship Information
The Keiko Hongo Japanese Scholarship is offered to assist students of Japanese at Honours level or students who are intending to continue studies at Masters or PhD level. Scholarships can be used for Research Fieldwork and other associated activities and can fund applicable expenses to do such work. $1,000-$2,000 available each year for each student.

Mangold Study Abroad Scholarships offer full-time students between $5,000 and $20,000 to assist with travel and living expenses while they are enrolled in an accredited language program at an overseas institution. Chinese language study may be combined with relevant cultural programs.

Call for application for Scholarship offered by Taiwan
Melbourne University has been selected to be one of the allocation authorities for 2012 scholarship program offered by the Taiwanese Ministry of Education. This entitles us to make a recommendation of 4-8 students for Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) and of 1-2 students for Taiwan Scholarship.
Sakata Scholarship
Chinese In-Country Intensive Study Program, Fudan University, Shanghai, China
This is an intensive Chinese language program in China. Classes will be conducted in the mornings from Monday to Friday. On weekends there will be excursions to places of interest in the surrounding area. In addition students will have the opportunity to engage in activities such as calligraphy and Tai Chi.
